Welcome to Sharmi On The Trot!

As the name suggests, I’m Sharmi. A sports journalist by profession, I’m extremely passionate about food and travel. Travelling whenever the opportunity arises, for work or leisure, I love to sample the local cuisine and then try and replicate them in my kitchen.

Having been bitten by the travel bug at an early age, I try to trot about as often as possible, because one day, I want to be able to say that I’ve travelled the world.
